I'm back!

Finally, school is done and over with! I'm off until June 6th, but I'm just taking fashion sketching, so I will still be able to post often. :) Hands down, this was the busiest and most stressful semester ever! In celebration of school being out, I finally got around to finish my Lemon Tie Dress!

I'm pretty pleased with the final product although I don't think I sewed the collar and facings correctly, but hey it works!

I never imagined that this pattern would be soo tricky for me to work with!

If you don't remember what the pattern I used looks like, here it is.

Since I've been off, I've made another dress (which I'll have to post soon), started on my birthday dress, and picked up knitting. It's been a pretty productive summer so far! I have a goal to make at least 8 dresses by August, so let's see if I can do it!

  9. Very Cute! I used this same fabric for a summer wrap dress last year. Though, I like the pattern you chose much better! I feel like I'm wearing an apron when I put mine on. :-D

  12. Urban Rustic: Thank you! I also thought the fabric would be fun for summer! Let's just hope I don't melt in it, since temps in Texas can get up to 112F in the summer!

Debi: Thanks! Those ruffles must have taken me forever to make!

  13. Marissa: Thank you! Unfortunately, I would not imagine parting with any of my patterns. I suggest you google McCalls 6339 and usually stuff pops out in the shopping portion. I'm sure you can find it because I've already heard of two other bloggers having this same pattern. Good luck! (:

    zilredloth: Aww thanks! :)
