City Life

It feels like forever since I last posted something! I've been busy with school and what not, and well I guess that's not a good excuse to not post things. I thought I'd include some pictures from this week. I go to school in the city, so I get to see all these neat things.

  1. OMG...your picture really take me back! I grew up in Garland, but spent every weekend in Dallas with my dad. The third picture...my dad uses to work in that building! AND...he went to Dallas High way back when it was Crozier Tech!

I live in England now, but Big D will always be home. Thanks for the memories!

  2. Aww! I'm glad you enjoyed them! It's quite a shame that both those buildings are now abandoned. Funny, I really hope to live in England one day. I went to London a couple of years ago and fell in love!

  3. Allie...we could switch! you could move here and tend to the chickens and cook for Mr G...and I could move back to Big D!

Seems that alot of Dallas's past is being torn down and replaced with new history. If you are interested, Flickr is full of pictures of old and new Dallas. It really is like a trip back to my childhood!

  4. That doesn't sound too bad! lol I've read several books and have done plenty of research on Dallas history and it's sad that a lot of the old stuff is gone. On a brighter note though, there are several restorations going on in Oak Cliff, Junius Heights of East Dallas, and then of course we still have Swiss Ave.
