Current Sewing Project -1962 Skirt

For the longest time I've wanted a skirt like the one Zooey Deschanel wore in She & Him's music video for In the Sun. I've been on the lookout for awhile, but hadn't found anything to my liking.

So a few months ago, I found this sewing pattern from 1962 with a really close shape to that skirt. I'm making the red skirt on the far right.



Unfortunately, the size of the pattern is too small for me, so I had to add 4" to the sides and that made me run out of fabric, so I still have yet to finish cutting.



Hopefully, I get the chance to go the fabric store to get more so I can continue working on it! (:
