I went to my favorite antique mall two saturdays ago. I really didn't find much except for two things.
The first thing I got is this vintage sewing pattern from 1965. I'm currently in the process of making the one with the ruffles on it, but I'm going to make it have short sleeves. I picked this light blue cotton fabric, which I'm in the process of cutting up.
The other thing I bought was this Blondie Vinyl Record. I really prefer listening to my vinyls than to my ipod. :)
my mom used to have something like those sewing patterns. you got great finds! :)

i wish there was a vintage mall around mee!
ReplyDeleteKelly: I mainly find them at antique malls :) My collection has grown a lot thanks to this one booth at an antique mall in NC, that has all records for $1 :)
ReplyDeleteCoco: Thanks so much and I will :)
Priincess: Well really there are only like two vintage stores that I know of and both are very out of my budget, most of my vintage findings are mainly from thrift stores, but it's taken a lot of patience in finding them and luck has a lot to do with it. I've only found a couple clothing pieces at a antique malls. Good luck finding vintage! :)
the sewing bits and pieces look like great finds.
ReplyDeleteChole: Thanks, they truly are :)
