Oh boy! It's been a crazy month! With starting a new job, catching up with friends & family, continuing my freelance work as a wardrobe stylist. It's left me with little time to actually post on blogs. No worries, I have lots of pictures and things to write about! It's just finding the time to actually sit down and start to write.
This past monday, I wore one of my all time favorite rompers that I found at Buffalo Exchange around 3 years ago. I was already in line to pay when the colorful romper caught my eye. I immediately gave up my spot in line to see the romper. To my pleasure, it was my size and only $7; not to mention it's vintage. The mid to late 1960's piece is made out of a seersucker novelty print including pears, hearts, and flowers.
The romper also has a halter style bodice and is shirred in the back. I think I live this a lot because of it's funky print and the way it looks like a dress instead of romper. It definitely is one of the best things I can wear during this hot Texas summer. I paired this romper with Ray Ban sunglasses & favorite nude wedges I've had for 9 years. My aunt bought them on sale at Target for $5 and let me keep them.
This outfit was worn to watch a film from the Asian Film Festival of Dallas with my boyfriend. We watched a hilarious Vietnamese comedy called Funny Money. It's definitely a must watch! I'll go ahead and attach the trailer at the end. After the film, we ended the date with gelato from Central Market.

Very cute romper!
ReplyDeleteThe print is perfect for a fun and flirty look in the summer. I can see how wearing this piece would instantly cheer you (or anyone else) up.
Fab choice:)
