I know I have a few loyal readers and I'd also like to thank you all for reading my blog! It means a lot that someone has the patience (by the time I post something) and interest to see what goes on in my corner of the world. I also promise that 2014 will be full of more frequent blog posts.
So here is 2013 in a nutshell
January:
Film noir photo shoot with Casa Noir Photography
February- March:
Made and sold my first custom designed dress for a paying client.
May:
Made a 1930's, which I happened to burn the fabric.
Through the Alley (me) lent vintage hats & helped style a Edgar Gomez fashion show.

June:
Went to A-Kon 24 & wore the Kimono I made last year.
July:
Through the Alley (me) got to prop style a spread for Bleep Magazine.
August - September:
Participated in Fall For Cotton Sew Along.
October:
Created a step by step DIY cat ears project.
Through the Alley lent vintage bags and eye glasses for the up and coming Noble Elizabeth line by Adrienne Sparkman Hall. I was even given a shout out from DFW Daily Style.
November:
I made a dress that I didn't like at all. However, all my lovely followers on instagram & here told me it was great! So I changed my mind.
Got a mid century bar & had a Mad Men Inspired shoot with Casa Noir Photography. The dress was also made by me.
Had the opportunity to help out at a Miss Me fashion show with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. The show was styled by celebrity stylist Laurie Graham.
This really was a special year for Through the Alley! My name has been put out and people are starting to acknowledge me as a vintage stylist. Many thanks to those who have helped make this possible! You guys know who you are! <3 nbsp="" p="">3>
I truly am excited to see what 2014 brings!
Tune back tomorrow for my New Year's Resolution!
Much love,
Allie
