January's Books

One of the things that was on my New Year's Resolution list was to read as many books as I can. So I figured I would write about the books I read at the end of each month as a motivation for me to keep on going.

This month I only read two books because I ran out of money :(

1. The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz

The book was alright. Not the best and not the worst that I've read. I was kinda confused at some parts, which is probably why I didn't enjoy it as much.

2. Girl by Blake Nelson

Hands down, most depressing book I've ever read! I loved that I could really relate to the main character in a lot of ways, but I hated the ending!


I think this is the most awkward post I've ever written since I wasn't too sure what to really say about the books without giving spoilers :/

What's your favorite book? Do you have any recommendations for me?

I just started reading The Book Thief and so far I like it! Hopefully I'll be able to read more books this month!
