Awhile back I wrote about this great vintage 70's young edwardian style dress that I only paid $1.99 for. It looked really bulky on me when I bought it, but I finally took it to the tailor to have it fixed. I would have done it myself, but the material is really thin and I was scared that I would really mess it up. I ended up spending around $15 for her to fix it up the way I wanted it.
