A Modern Twist

Recently I decided to make something a little more modern than what I usually make. I made McCall's 2922 from 1971.

I used a feather printed stretch knit that I found at my local thrift store; and that's where I made the first mistake. It was a nightmare trying to sew the elastic on the waist and sleeves, so I ended up just giving up and hemming it. Other than that, the pattern was fairly simple to make. It's something I would make again, but with a different fabric.

  1. Fabric trouble aside, it looks totally wearable to me! Well done :)
